Salon values your privacy and the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy describes what information we collect from you, how we collect it, how we use it, how we obtain your consent, how long we retain it in our databases and, if necessary, with whom we share it.
By registering as a User and using the Platform, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy. Your use of the Platform is also subject to our terms and conditions. In this privacy policy, the words "Platform" refers to Salon's mobile application and website together; "we," "us," "our" and "Salon" refers to Salon; "Provider" refers to those businesses such as salons and beauty centers that subscribe on the Platform to post services and products and "User" refers to Users who use the Platform to browse, book and purchase services and products from Providers.
This privacy policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform after we make changes is deemed acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. Payment information: Users' payment information will be processed by the payment processors available on the Platform (Stripe). These payment processors will process and store your data securely and for the sole purpose of processing transactions within the Platform. Salon reserves the right to contract any payment Platform available on the market, which will process your payment data for the sole purpose of processing transactions within the Platform.

GOOGLE Analytics (website). We use Google Analytics provided by Google, Inc., USA (“Google”). These tool and technologies collect and analyze certain types of information, including IP addresses, device and software identifiers, referring and exit URLs, feature use metrics and statistics, usage and purchase history, media access control address (MAC Address), mobile unique device identifiers, and other similar information via the use of cookies. The information generated by Google Analytics (including your IP address) may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We use the GOOGLE Analytics collection of data to enhance the Platform and improve our service.

Firebase (Mobile app): We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics provided by Google, Inc. of the United States ("Google") and certain functionalities such as Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase Dynamic Links, Firebase Authentication, etc. These tools and technologies collect and analyze certain types of information, such as feature usage metrics and statistics, usage history, unique device identifiers and other similar information. The information generated by Firebase may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We use Firebase to improve our Platform.

Social Media: On our platform you will find links and functions linked to different social media networks, where you can share your information. It is advisable to consult the privacy and data protection policy of each social media used on our platform.
Contact information: We may access some personal information about the User, such as name and email address, when the User or any third party communicates with us through our contact information. Personal information provided through our contact information is not stored on any Salon server and will be stored on the respective server of our email service.
Personal data provided by Users through the Platform will be retained for the time necessary to facilitate the publication, booking and purchase of services and products by Providers and Users, to provide the functionalities available on the Platform and until the User maintains the User account on the Platform or decides to close it or until Salon closes and deletes the User account or until the User requests the deletion of his data. Salon may retain personal data for a longer period where the User has given consent to such processing, provided that such consent is not withdrawn. In addition, Salon may be obliged to retain personal data for a longer period if this is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority. Once the retention period expires, the personal data will be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right of erasure, the right of rectification and the right to data portability cannot be asserted once the retention period has expired.

By registering as a User (Providers and Users), posting services and products on the Platform (Providers), purchasing or booking a service, purchasing a product or gift card through the Platform (Users), subscribing to our newsletter, communicating with us through contact forms or our contact information, and providing us with personal information to communicate with you, you consent to our collection, storage and use of your information on the terms contained in this privacy policy. You may withdraw your consent by sending us your request via the contact information or the contact page.
The personal information of our Users is an important and fundamental part of our business. Under no circumstances will we sell or share information with third parties that has not been previously authorized by the User or owner of the personal data. We share User information solely and exclusively as described below.
Third-Party Service Providers. We use third-party services to perform certain functions on our behalf and through our Platform and services. Examples include processing payments and payouts (Stripe), sending emails, analyzing data (Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics), providing marketing assistance and delivering search results.
These third-party services and tools may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use that information for other purposes. Information shared with these third-party services will be treated and stored in accordance with their respective privacy policies and our privacy policy.
Email Marketing. We use the information provided by Users to conduct marketing campaigns and send relevant information to our Users and subscribers. By registering as a User on the Platform, you authorize us to use your information for email marketing. We will use third party services to perform email marketing, so we may share certain information with some of these third parties for the sole and exclusive purpose of sending emails through email marketing and in accordance with our privacy policy.
Business Transfers. In the event that Salon creates, merges with, or is acquired by another entity, your information will most likely be transferred. Salon will email you or place a prominent notice on our Platform before your information becomes subject to another privacy policy.
Protection of Salon and Others. We release personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our Terms and conditions and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Salon, our Users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
With Your Consent. Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when personally identifiable information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
Anonymous Information. Salon uses the anonymous browsing information collected automatically by our servers primarily to help us administer and improve the Platform. We may also use aggregated anonymous information to provide information about the Platform to potential business partners and other unaffiliated entities. This information is not personally identifiable.
We restrict authorized access to your personal information to those persons who have a legitimate need to know such information to provide certain functions and to those persons you have authorized to have access to such information. Salon follows generally accepted industry standards for data security to protect the personal information you provide and share through the Platform, both during transmission and once Salon receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while Salon strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
In the event of a security breach that compromises the confidentiality of our Users' personal data, Salon undertakes to notify those affected in a timely manner. This notification will be made through the means of contact that have been provided by the User on our Platform. We will take all reasonable measures to protect the information and remedy any situation that jeopardizes the security of your data.
By using our Platform, you agree that your personal data may be transferred and processed outside of Palestine or your home country, where data protection legislation may differ from that of your country. Salon is committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated in accordance with applicable privacy protection rules and is adequately protected during any international transfer.
Users who provide information through our Platform, as data subjects and data owners, have the right to access, rectify, download or delete their information, as well as to restrict and object to certain processing of their information. Except as otherwise expressly included in this privacy policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information Salon collects from you. If you disclose your information to others, whether other Salon Users or vendors, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Salon does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. Salon is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other Platforms, including those that are linked to from Salon.
